Christof Stork, Chief Scientist
Christof Stork has 20+ years of experience in the seismic field and a track record of entrepreneurial successes with various segments of the industry. He was one of the first people to develop MVA tomography for depth migration (demonstrating the need for and proposing methods for stabilizing the inversion), he was one of the early developers of the ProMAX seismic data processing system, he built one of the first maximum energy travel time solvers for Kirchhoff depth migration, and he was one of the first to develop WEM migration on massive PC clusters. Christof has been involved in 3 previous entrepreneurial ventures, of which 2 1/2 were successful. To see Christof's recent work on interferometry, click here. Dave Diller, President
Dave Diller has 20+ years of oil and gas industry experience, primarily with seismic processing and seismic processing software. Dave spent 5 years as a seismic processor and geophysical programmer at Union Pacific Resources. This was folllowed by 6 years at Advance Geophysical as the chief development engineer, where Dave served as the architect and primary developer of ProMAX, the industry's leading seismic processing system. Dave spent 2 years as founder and president of Encore Software, a company that developed and marketed seismic data compression software. For 11 years Dave was at Landmark Graphics, where he served various roles including program manager, product manager, development manager, and architect of the Well-Seismic Fusion and SeisSpace products. Dave is a frequent contributor to the open source JavaSeis project. Dave coined (and lives by) the truism "Thick skin is the first prerequisite for software development".
